Welcome to Joy Japan Sushi & Hibachi, a traditional Japanese restaurant in St. Cloud, FL!
We serve the freshest and most authentic sushi in the city, made with love and precision by our experienced chefs.
Our menu features a wide variety of sushi rolls, including sashimi, and tempura, as well as more adventurous options like the Volcano Roll with its fiery habanero sauce and the Deep Sea Roll with its rich caviar and lemon-infused mayo. Each roll is crafted with the freshest ingredients, including super-premium fish like tuna, yellowtail, and eel, resulting in a truly sublime dining experience.

We get food here at least once a week. We’ve done both pickup and dine in. Service is always excellent and the food comes out quickly. Carry out orders are also prepared quickly. I like that they offer hand rolls now and the servers are always nice! However, they used to give soy sauce in cups when ordering carry out but now they give the packets. I preferred the cups because I could actually dip the sushi.
If someone in your party doesn’t like sushi, rest assured that they will find something they like because the menu is extensive. For the sushi lovers, there is an equally diverse assortment. We ordered the spring rolls & tempura vegetables for an appetizer, and the Nolte Roll & Da Bomb Roll. The presentation was on point, as well as the taste, temperature, and the portions. We also had a glass of their Chardonnay, which was surprisingly good. Joy Japan is now our go to sushi restaurant!
The sushi is absolutely delicious! I placed a togo order online (yes the 45 minute wait is slightly accurate) I waited about 30 minutes for my order which is extremely fast since the entire restaurant was full and they had a line for Togo orders. I had ordered a tuna, avocado and cucumber roll, in addition to their Tokyo roll. My rolls were freshly made to order and tasted AMAZING!!! The fish is fresh and and the batter for the tempura Tokyo roll was perfectly crispy. The staff is frienly, patient and polite just from my small and quick interaction at the Togo counter. I can’t wait to come back again soon.
Great service! Beautiful place! So much variety. There’s definitely a higher price point but we got so much food we couldn’t even finish half of it. Great for groups. Very homey. But do make sure to have a reservation, otherwise you’ll have a 20-30 minute wait. Nothing crazy though
